Prekindergarten 3 Program
Saint Ann School Prekindergarten 3 program provides students with developmental activities to stimulate them with age-appropriate materials and to develop their abilities to listen, follow directions, cooperate, and share.
Prekindergarten 3 classes also engage in the following teacher-led subjects once a week: Art, Music, Spanish, and Physical Education.
Prekindergarten 4 Program
The Prekindergarten 4 curriculum is focused on small group academic instruction, small group guided crafts, and everyday living, sharing, and interacting that build an understanding of God's love. Through group and individual instruction, students will achieve learning success and readiness for Kindergarten.
Children in this class will also benefit from field trip experience and specials in Art, Music, Spanish, and Physical Education.
Saint Ann School elementary grades students benefit from a small class structure to ensure individualized and differentiated learning. From Kindergarten through Fifth grade our teachers lay the basis for literacy fluency, a strong foundation in Mathematics, and a Religious Education program that will take them through their sacramental year of First Holy Communion and Reconciliation.
Middle school students at Saint Ann School experience a renewed sense of responsibility and self-esteem. They learn to write thorough research papers, they are exposed to different genres and they work on enhancing their individual comprehension skills through reading strategies and activities. They are actively engaged in science hands-on lab exercises and through our Mathematics program, they are prepared to take on high school Algebra classes.
With our Religious Education program, students are actively involved in prayer, liturgical experiences, and social responsibilities. Studying Scriptures and present Catholic doctrine, students grow in faith and are prepared for Christian leadership.
Our eighth graders become mentors to students in the lower grades and our younger students feel safe and secure and appreciate having someone to look up to. In turn, this interaction cultivates good citizenship that contributes to the entire local community.
